Monthly report from the Fire
Department.
b.
Financial Update/Statement of
Position: Checking Accounts, Saving Accounts, Investments and Statement of
Revenue and Expenditures.
c.
Refinancing of the 1997 and
1999 certificates of obligation.
VIII. New Business: Discussion and Action on.
a.
Approval of monthly bills and
purchase orders.
b.
Approval of the November 9th
regular and 16th special City Council meeting.
c.
Request for street repairs for
Haning Drive as requested by Mrs. Rodgers.
d. Allowing the Mayor to appoint the following committees:
1. Committee to make
suggestions for improvements to the city web site.
2. Committee to make
recommendations concerning the Red Flag rules.
3. Committee to make
recommendations for changes and improvements to our Employee Policy Manual.
e. Policy and procedure manual-Possibly set date for next workshop and also how to proceed with manual.
f.
Rate increase by Lamar
County Water Supply.
g. Agenda items-Agenda items as submitted by Council, Mayor, City Attorney, or Department Heads/Supervisor.
h. Water rates or water discounts for members of the VFD, and others servicing the City of Reno.
i. Water discounts resolution 1007 amendment.
j.
Public notification system such
as one offered by Code Red and Blackboard Connect CTY.
k. City Administrator job position.
l.
Clarifying titles and terms
used in the Employee Manual by changing the title of City Secretary to City
Administrator/Secretary.
m. Clarify City Council action or wishes on department heads/supervisor on who they report and who has authority to reprimand, terminate, or direct their activity.
n.
Contract with Hayter
Engineering for design of trail extension to be funded with grant from Texas
Parks & Wildlife.
o.
Entering into contract with UTA
to perform an economic development survey for the city of Reno.
p.
Resignation of Fire Chief.
q. Consider replacement of Fire Chief.
IX. Old Business: Discuss take action on.
a.
Mayor to appoint person to
fill vacancy on the Economic Development Committee left by Brad Osborne’s
resignation.
b.
Awarding bid for Town East to
repair curb and gutter from priority one on the street priority list, as
recommended by the Street Commission.
X.
EXECUTIVE SESSION-The council
may enter into closed or executive session to discuss the following:
a. Texas
